Ashley hasn't talked about her parents much, but has said that her bodybuilding grandpa is the reason she loves to exercise. Ashley was active physically from a young age. She began taking swimming lessons at four years old, and continued for 10 more. While she participated in several events, Ashley was never committed enough to follow a diet that would allow her body to function in its peak. She returned for the 2015 WBFF World Championships and won fifth place after this competition was over Ashley realized that she did not want to compete anymore. Though she'd been getting invitations to shoot photos while competing, Ashley was not keen on her two careers to be confused. After she had quit competing, she turned into an exercise model. The magazine she was on featured her cover in a well-known fitness magazine, which launched her fitness modelling career. She was signed by an agency straight away following. Her career as a model has taken off since then. Models have been seen in bikinis with famous fashion brands, and appeared on the covers of numerous popular magazines.
