Kim Delaney, an American actor best known for her role as detective Diane Russell on ABC's NYPD Blue series, for which she received an Emmy Award. Delaney was born as the only child from her mom who was a homemaker as well as a senior executive from the United Auto Workers. Delaney was a child with 4 brothers.
